Susan earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Hawaii, graduated from the University’s Marine Option Program, and has authored and co-authored 9 books about nature in Hawaii. www.susanscott.net

    Wally Johnson, Science Advisor

    Oscar (Wally) Johnson, PhD is Affiliate Research Scientist in the Department of Ecology at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. Wally is the undisputed world expert on Pacific Golden-Plovers, having studied them since 1979. Wally, who conducts research throughout the Pacific and Alaska, has published over 60 scientific papers on plovers and other birds.
